Eligibility to Participate in Adsense

Google Adsense is a great way to monetize your blog, website, or YouTube channel. It's extremely user friendly to apply, and install. With practice you can discover the best way to advertise on your blog or website and improve revenue. What's the most important factor in making money with Google Adsense? Being eligible to participate as well as following Adsense policies. Cooperating with Google and their eligibility requirements should be your number one priority. So how do you do that?

1. YOU MUST HAVE A WEBSITE
   This may seem obvious but you must have a website, YouTube channel, or a blog 
2. YOU MUST BE 18+
   There are no exceptions you must be at least 18 years old
3. ADSENSE SUPPORTED LANGUAGES
   Make sure your website or blog is in a language that is supported by Adsense. Here is what Google has to say about supported languages if you want to know more. They currently support these 38 languages:

4. COMPLY WITH ADSENSE RULES
   This is the most common reason people get their application rejected, they get their account suspended, or loose revenue from Adsense. 
5. NEVER CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS
   This is a big no, no with Google, not only because it lacks integrity but it throws off the Adsense revenue for everyone. If you are falsely clicking on ads, advertisers loose money by investing in clicks that don't create new clients. In turn they stop advertising with Google and that leaves us publishers without a way of monetizing our ads. Make sense?
6. NEVER ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO CLICK
   For the same reason we don't want to click on our own ads. Don't egg people on to click on ads they are not interested in. We want our advertisers to make money that way we can also  make money. Don't post things like "Please support our sponsors" or add arrows with signs saying "Click Here". Let people engage organically with your ads.
7. YOUR CONTENT MUST BE ADSENSE FRIENDLY
   This means no content containing pornography, gambling, hacking, anything of violent nature, excessive cursing, promotion of drugs, or anything illegal. Why? Because the advertisers are promised ad placement not associated with these things.
8. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT 
   Make sure anything you post does not violate any copyright protection rights. You must have approval and it's common practice to give credit to the writer, source, or website.
9. MEET GOOGLE'S WEBMASTER GUIDELINES
   - Your keywords need to match the content you create
   - Don't deceive your readers, give them the information they are looking for
   - No hidden texts or links
   - Create content for your readers not search engines, so don't have your keyword repeated over and over in your content just to rank higher.Google will penalize you by not allowing you to come up in search engines.
